First experience
It's taken me sometime to really know where to start with my photography career. I honestly still don't know.
So I woke up and started school!
I am majoring in photography, and LOVING it. I truly don't care what my subject is. A turtle, worm, or baby? Who cares. I want it to be eye catching and to tell a story. I want people to cry, laugh, and ask questions when they see my work. I want to tell my story with it.
I want to make beauty.
I bought a Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm Lens. It has taken me some time to actually understand how to work with it.. and I still have a lot to learn. I want to open up my mind and find the creativity I know exists in it and I would love your ideas. If only to open up to new possibilities. I would love the opportunity to take photo's of you, your family, old/new car, or platypus (or all of it at once). So don't hesitate to ask.
I hope that all the people I know and love can support me to get where I wanna be in my photography. I just can't help but want you all to be apart of it. I love you all so much! I plan to have Grandpa Al's pictures up in the next week. So keep an eye open!

When it rains, it pours.
This is my first post. Not entirely a happy one, but all in all a post that will let me express myself and hopefully broaden my vocabulary, plus as a bonus I can start putting all my awesome photo's that I hope I will take one day up here..
Life's been a little rough these days with my Husband losing his job, my Sister getting in a car accident, and my Niece and Nephew being put up for adoption. Money is tight, and the world seems so difficult. I still try everyday to make it. JD and I are hoping for him to find a job soon, before the bills start to pile up. I work but the bills still won't get paid on my 20 hrs a week $7.50 per hour job.
Good thing there is some awesome accomplishments still in our life. Like JD has enrolled in 14 credit hours for school! Getting him on a faster track for success. Rebekah my awesome sister-in-law has enrolled in school as well! My niece and nephew have prospective parents, my job has awesome people who really respect you, and I really know who my friends are.
Tiffany Petrossi, she is my BFF, seriously. This girl has been with me since I was four. Took all my crap and paranoia. Even when I was the most despicable friend to her. She shrugged it off like it was nothing and laughed with me again. Not to mention how awesome of a mother she is. I respect her and her strength and will never take this friendship for granted again.
Hiromi Glines, come on how could you not love this girl? I have known this girl made her my enemy then best friend thousands of times over, but we all know its cause i'm so jealous. But really I like this girl. She has the best sense of taste and is incredibly intelligent and talented. She inspires me more than anyone I can think of. She makes me want to tell a story with photographs and be louder and more confident than I am without her.
I can't forget my Husband. Oh my Husband. You may find out in my post's that he challenges me with more questions than with anyone else. Opened my eyes up to a world of love i never would of thought could be called love. I laugh, cry, Debate constantly with him but still want to see him everyday and make him do all the same. I love our conversations, our disagreements, our dreams for the future. I know him deeper than i have ever known anyone else. I see his desire to please his dad. His dreams to be a pilot. I understand his frustrations and really all time lows. I still find myself learning something new about him everyday. Like his love for terrible actors in great shows. His absolute obsession with fixing something that doesn't need to be fixed. His childish behavior of being the banker in monopoly and First person/Captain in teams. I still go to bed every night wanting to watch him fall asleep. ( i always fall asleep first though)
He makes me remember that their will always be sun shinning down on you. Even in times of down pours.
These people are some of the ones who have made me who I am today.
